You guys go so fast. I am almost done with Little Earthquakes, but only because I sneak a page or two in whenever I possibly can (like stuck at a train, eating my lunch, etc.) I may not have liked this book ten years ago, because it is all about three women who just had babies, but it is absolutely perfect right now and I am loving it.
I also just started The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime on tape (since that is the only version my library had). Lyle, Jackson, and I are driving down to Bloomington next week so I will be able to get through it then. It is OK, but a little disconcerting. It is written in the first person in the voice of an autistic kid, but it is very articulate; so there seems to be a disconnect that is distracting to me. It might be better if I were reading a hard copy, but I'll never know.

Should I read her other two books before Earthquake?
Fast, schmast, I can only read 2-3 pages per night before I fall dead asleep. I think I am as far as page 50 in Sushi, but I like it so far.
It is not necessary to read Weiner's other books to appreciate this one, but they are both good. I think I even have an extra copy of Good in Bed because Daddy passed it on to me before he realized that I already had it.
Mom, did I leave Namesake there for someone else to read? My friend Nancy is going to be reading it for her book club and I can't find my copy.
Yes, Namesake is here. There was a bag of your stuff by the picture totem but you didn't take it. I will make Gretchen bring it this weekend.
You made your mother drive all the way to Indianna to bring you a book?
Yes, Mom would drive all the way here to bring me a book, as long as she got some Jackson hugs while she was here.
